Assistant Director - Patient Business Services - FT - Business Services
The Assistant Director of Patient Business Services is a leader who is responsible for implementing the organizational and the departmental mission, vison and goals. The role is responsible for supervising the Patient Business Services operations by managing employees and client relations and guiding and coaching staff to achieve departmental operational goals in all areas. May perform administrative and financial tasks as assigned by the Executive Director of Revenue Cycle. This position is a working supervisor position that requires working inventory as assigned.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of insurance denials to facilitate education and process improvement to prevent and reduce future denials. Will be responsible for maintaining knowledge of denial trends for both clinic and hospital claims, creating presenting training documentation to all areas that trending has identified as needing improvement or education to resolve root causes for the denials.
Requirements:
1) High School diploma required.
2) Four-year degree from baccalaureate program preferred.
3) Minimum two to three years' experience in supervisory or management position preferred.
4) Experience with Windows system.
5) Previous experience in health care setting preferred.
6) Must have excellent public relation skills, customer service and communication skills as well as a professional demeanor.
7)Medical terminology and health insurance background preferred.

Salary is commensurate with up to 10 years of experience.
