DUTIES: Organizes and conducts medically prescribed Occupational Therapy programs to guide individuals in improving their quality of life following injury, disease or loss of a body part with consideration to patientís gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs. When education and licensure requirements are met, no previous experience is required. Ability to supervise rehabilitation aides, assistants, and volunteers.
REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of accredited School of Occupational Therapy; current certification with the American Occupational Therapy Association, and licensed to practice in the state of Montana.
Specific Skills needed in upper extremity splinting and the rehab required, in addition to usual Occupational Therapy skills needed to meet the needs of patients in skilled nursing facility, outpatient and acute care areas.
